From Bacolod City, Hinoba-an is around four and a half hours south when using public utility vehicles through the main highways. By private car, it is approximately a three and a half hour ride. Buses to Hinoba-an depart from Bacolod South Terminal, while taxis and vans for hire abound there too. The national roads to both Bacolod and Dumaguete City, pass through all eleven barangays of the Municipality of Hinoba-an.
